Just to be thorough, I logged into an app on LSAC and my email in the field was the same case as on my status checker. My conclusion: upper case=you let the form auto-fill from your general lsac profile, lowercase=you manually filled it in on the app, one upper one lower=you let it fill the primary, then manually did your secondary because it does not do that one automatically.

Is this really the best use of my time...

Congrats to everyone who was admitted. Just wanted to add that I was admitted via email yesterday after I missed the phone call. Unfortunately I was in my car driving home from my University and did not have my phone on Bluetooth. Incredibly excited!

Got accepted. Both emails are upper case. I don't think it's relevant this year.

I wonder when decision calls will occur again.

I have three competing theories on this. (This is my thread so I'm allowed to be neurotic.)
1) Yesterday was just the crazy-qualified admits and there won't necessarily be another wave anytime soon.
2) They called around 4-5 yesterday so they'll call around 4-5 today.
a) Because that's the time they scheduled to call.
b) Because they reviewed apps all day then called at the end.
3) The office has been settling in all morning and they're going to get some lunch and call when they're done.

For some reason I have this mentality that I'll know whether I got in soon but I have to keep reminding myself they're not going to let me know if I'm dinged.

Have you done a comparison on last years' threads to see if more or less people reported admittance on the first day of calls? Yesterday seemed like a relatively small batch, but I'm not totally sure what previous years looked like either.

Last year's thread is kind of a mess with the first wave - I don't think anyone even posted an acceptance until January. I'll take a look at it anyway.

Did your email go lowercase on the status checker?

One of the is lowercase, the other is not! I do not know the significance of that. Nothing has changed on the app checker. I'll let you guys know when I get the stuff in the mail? I know some people might not believe me, but I swear I'm not cruel enough to prank anyone like this. That would be ridiculously unkind.

This happened to me last year. Mine went from two UPPERCASE emails to one UPPER, one LOWER.

I skimmed through some of last year's thread an it looks like 6 ppl who applied in september were accepted 1/9 and 8 people who applied from sept. through late oct. were accepted on 1/15. I'm not really sure if this information is relevant to our cycle though.

so you know how Y says no advantage? so you're not more likely to get in, but you can go Nov submit->Jan admit, whereas a Dec submit might take until Feb?

is that the same with SLS? if everyone who heard back yesterday were Sept submitters, does that also mean they had an advantage?

I initially thought there was no advantage, but a very good poster who ran a regression stated that there is in the first thread below.

last year they started decisions on the 9th and then there were some on the 15th and 17th, so if no calls occur tonight maybe there will be some next Tuesday and then the Monday after Thanksgiving.
