Just curious, did you guys have some impending deadline requiring action, or is the fact several people withdrew contemporaneously mere coincidence?

I just signed a lease and booked airplane tickets to another school.

No deadline here, I actually sent a withdrawal email 2 days ago but have yet to receive a confirmation for it. As for where I'm headed instead, ill be at Cornell since they matched my gtown scholly and are more in line with my nyc big law aspirations. Gtown is an awesome school though, and had cornell not matched my scholly I'd be in DC next year.

Just received confirmation, so now there is a seat open.

No deadline here, I actually sent a withdrawal email 2 days ago but have yet to receive a confirmation for it. Nope- but I am expecting some positive news for some of us this week... Tuition is due Monday, I am sure some spots will open.

I received an email yesterday from the Director of Admissions asking me to reiterate whether I am still interested in GULC and how likely I would be to attend if admitted, as one or two spots may pop up shortly. I then withdrew, so good luck to you all!

No news on my end. I'm assuming that quite a few spots should arise within the week given that the entire class had to confirm enrollment by yesterday. Hopefully someone on this forum will be admitted... I'm waiting on tenterhooks as this will likely be the last major deadline such that very few people will subsequently be accepted from the wait list. We shall see, though.

After reading all these religiously all summer, waiting with you all, I had to make a username. I'm still on the WL like most of you, but at this point it seems incredibly inconvenient, if not impossible, to get out of leases made at other schools, or tuition(s) paid, etc. even IF we get into GULC. Have you all made commitments elsewhere, or are you all-in for GULC, and willing to take a year off if things don't go our way?

Hey, I'm pretty exhausted with waiting, so I completely understand. I'm actually planning on reapplying if I don't get in off the waitlist in a few weeks.

I have a flight book to Mexico City August 19th, and intend to do some work down there for a few months. Would cancel all my plans if accepted at NYU CLS or GULC...

I actually went all in with GULC as well. I'm preparing to work for a year and reapply if needed but I hope that all of us who are so dedicated get in. We've hung on this long so let's hope it pays off.

Admissions office said the Admissions Committee will be sending out an email update sometime this week to those still on the waitlist... Not sure how much that will reveal.
