Getting my decision today (3.42/172)...hope they saved some money (well, I hope I get in, but money would be nice too).

Happy to help. They sent out my packet two tuesdays ago but they sent it to my school box so I'm not finding out my scholly info until I go back tonight

It's been annoying to say the least

I was one of the first ones making "discount double-choke" jokes after the niners game...that loss still stings.

Is anybody else pleasantly shocked at how fast W&L got back to some of us? I didn't think I would care about who my first acceptance decision came from but in reality, W&L went up a few notches on my list.

Definitely. I went in review on 1/18, so I am shocked they got back to me already.

$$$ today!

$40,000 per year! 3.25 stip. Any rhyme or reason to the slightly differing stips going out? I've seen mostly 3.15, with a few 3.25 in the thread, and then one person said they got top 40%?

3.25 is for the 40k and 3.15 is for the lower amounts, I believe.

I wish I'd gotten $40k as well, trust me... haha. But honestly, I'm even surprised I got the $30k. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Got an email saying that the third round of scholarship offers were mailed today. Apparently they let you know if you don't get one as well.

Yeah, got that too. Hoping they're as generous as they seemed to be in the last round. It's nice of them to keep us updated but it kind of makes the wait slightly more agonizing.

Just got a snail mail with 40K/year scholarship inside

3.25 stip, unexpected given my low GPA. It really made my day.

Read that last night! Honestly it seems very interesting but a bit intimidating. However, W&L is the best news I've had this cycle yet so I'm mentally preparing myself to move to a town with a population of 7k haha The skeptic in me has to consider however, isn't there really only one year of data for the new 3L curriculum? Not to diminish its quality, but it is something to consider right?
