You both have superior numbers for BC. This is very interesting. I'm still under review since 11/28 with much worse #s at 164/3.6

I'm a reverse splitter, but have managed to do well this cycle I think based on a lot of years of preftigious work experience and the URM (debatable because I'm an international) factor. I would blame BC if they rejected me based on my LSAT score alone so I'm glad to be held.

I think thats a good sign, skri. BC is very unpredictable. They might really like your application!

Correct. Hold means you are still in the pool of applicants and will receive a decision, which might include a waitlist, after January (not sure if they gave a specific date in the email?).

They are currently reviewing my application as a 2.97/167 but once LSAC updates my gpa it will be 3.05/167

I think it's because BC sent out an email telling people they would receive a decision by mid-December and are trying to fix their mistake now that they aren't really ready after all.

I'm not sure but in previous years they put you under review again sometime in January or February so its as if they skip us for awhile.

My guess is that they want to see how the numbers turn out for the December LSAT. And the scheduled score release for the Dec administration is the first week of Jan. I'm sure after that, the floodgates will open.
