Yeah, I don't think it makes a gigantic difference..borrow to much this year, borrow less next year.

My mind still hasn't figured out how to deal with dollar amounts this large. Filling out the housing form was an exercise in random number assignment - "I'll spend this much money that I haven't got!"

Yeah, definitely. I did my calculations on another page and pretty much concluded that even with interest, there won't be much difference in end price what strategy you take (e.g., taking out full 1L and then taking out less the following years v. trying to budget it perfectly across all three years).

Hahaha, from my ASW visit, it seems like the prices are generally in the 900-1000 range which is totally reasonable.

Hey guys, so I got admitted yesterday via email. For some reason, my information is not on the database, so I cannot submit my deposit yet. Did anyone else have similar issues?

At first I thought it was just a delay between my acceptance and my info, but it has been more than a few weeks for me. Either mail in the deposit or give them a call so that you can pay via phone.

So, from my understanding they don't send you any confirmation that you deposited except that they send you a link to set up your email about a week after. Correct?

If so, can you only sign up for a UNI id (email) after you've deposited? I ask because I'd like some confirmation before the deposit deadline passes.

Something like that, I think.

You can always call the admissions office for confirmation too.

I deposited over a week ago, so I'm hoping I get mine sometime this week.

I deposited on a Saturday and received my email a bit over a week later on the next tuesday.

ETA: Don't forget to apply for housing by May 1 !

Yeah, I deposited Thursday and registered my UNI last night, but the deposit hasn't shown up on my card yet.

Applied for housing Thursday too! Now I'm looking at how to finance everything.
