Wow. THE worst scholarship offer yet. I got way more (with less stips) from much higher ranked schools. Loyola wasn't really in the running anyways. But I am definitely surprised with how stingy they were.

Could you provide more details on the scholarship offer? I've heard that Loyola isn't the biggest giver, but dont know any more details.

I wish I could attend the Discover Loyola Day and Scholarhsip Dinner. I'm actually visiting the campus on March 26th. Flights from California were half the price than the weekend of the 17th.

+1. My lowest ranked school, and right now the most expensive. I'm going to send a letter with my other offers so hopefully they up my scholarship - does anyone ever get full rides here? I really want to stay in Chicago.

I'm going to the reception and the Saturday program too! Though Loyola is not my first choice, I would definitely give it a chance. See you guys there!

They said they would send a confirmation email after registering for the program on March 17th, but I never got mine. Has anyone else?

Same boat.

I emailed them about not having anything in the mailing and they said it doesn't necessarily mean that you aren't getting merit scholarship. This is what they said in the email, "Merit awards are going out on a continual basis, and grant awards will not go out until March"

Signed up today too. I am assuming they won't be sending them out right away because it was via survey monkey. They may compile all those who applied on Friday and send out something then.

Got my scholarship, and just sent in a negotiating letter. They responded almost right away with a letter saying that they cannot increase any grants, but I should apply for the Child Fellowship. It seemed like a standard letter they were sending out to everyone with negotiation requests, but maybe others will have luck. Probably going to withdraw soon

I was accepted on January 23rd and just got my scholarship info on Saturday.
