No decision yet. I might have a bishop write me a LoR. So far my target for ND has really rested on the Catholicism angle. Too risky?

Well, I'd say it's impossible to know for sure. My gpa's just above the median and LSAT is at the 75th, so I'd like to think I have a strong chance. I also wrote what I consider to be a pretty good Why Notre Dame. Also, looking at the other people who have gone decision made today, it looks like we have some pretty strong applicants. However, LSN indicates that Notre Dame sent out a lot of acceptances, WL and denials around this time, so maybe we don't all have the same answer.

But I should probably also point out that as it is Friday the 13th. Ominous.

Yeah they send waitlist decisions in a normal envelope. I am thrilled I got waitlisted, but I thought it was a rejection letter when I first saw it. Good luck, and don't feel bad if you get in Notre Dame and then leave, because I can take your spot!

My complete date was originally in november now the complete date has been updated to 1/13.

My original complete date was 11/9 and it updated to 12/8 complete. I got a postcard from them in mid-December saying my application was being reviewed and that's all I've heard.

Reading this thread is scaring me. I applied on 1/9 (fee waiver w/15 day turnaround) and a decision has been made today (1/16). Against my better judgement, I did not write a 'Why ND' essay, and I felt that my PS would adequately express my interest. It looks like people with better numbers than mine, have been rejected. ND's decision will be my first for the cycle and it would suck if it started with a ding or a WL.
