what should I do if I have gotten into more schools since I submitted and I want to add them to the list of shcools thta I am considering?!

From what I could gather, all of their awards are "partially merit-based" but may be augmented based on need, or something like that.

At the ASW they said a lot of their "need-based" funds ends up going toward LRAP and summer PI stipends. That said, they do give out SOME, I just don't know how much.

Something good, probably. I'm only at "application under review"...which means "final stage" is probably the next step.

I went from "application submitted" 2/22, to "under review" 2/23, to "final stage of review" 2/24. Stuck there since. Anyone else have a similarly rapid set of dates?

All three of mine are on the same day ... ?

Feeling pessimistic so I'm gonna guess that means a super quick look, a laugh and no money for me

edit: oh, if this is for merit-based, not need-based, then maybe I have a lil more hope...?

edit2: feeling slightly more optimistic now. Maybe quick turnaround is because I'm being considered for an RTK invite. One can dream!

Hey did anyone download their finaid application from the NYU checker?

Mine looks... funny. Like some boxes are just wrong. So I went in to NeedAccess to search for these things to fix them, but there wasn't even a corresponding box on NeedAccess in some cases. I found one error on my application (apparently a piece of info that is not transferred to NYU anyway) and updated it, but I'm worried a resubmit of NeedAccess will slow down my review at schools.

Blah. Re-submit NeedAccess? Contact NYU FinAid office?

I just tried calling the financial aid office again (I called yesterday too late). Got a message about them being in a weekly staff meeting. I'll try again in about 45 mins when I get a chance. Anyone have any questions you want me to ask them? I'm trying to figure out why my status says application not started.
