Ok, but traditional splitters usually don't have a hard time getting in if their GPAs are decent enough. Show me a reverse splitter who's been accepted to BU so far...
...what's "decent enough"?
REVERSE splitter here who was accepted.
slightly below 25th percentil for lsat, but gpa above 75th

According to TLS's definition I am NOT urm. But, I personally think I am.Gemini Hopeful wrote:Aren't you URM? That makes a difference.masterthearts wrote:

I am not Mexican or Puerto Rican, so TLS says I wouldn't get a boost.
I'd like to think I got in due to strong PS and extracurrics...and a high gpa from an ivy.

Re: BU 2011 Applicants
According to your acceptances, I think you definitely can be considered a URM. I don't mean to demean your score or anything.
But if you get into more than one great school with your score, it's either the most amazing softs everrrr OR you can be considered URM.

Yeah, judging by his other acceptances, he's a URM. High GPA from an ivy only counts for a little bit, and perhaps only comparatively to another applicant w/ similar #s.

So jealous! I want to be accepted, and you aren't going to go... If I was accepted, I would probably get no money regardless...arism87 wrote:Booo nothing in mine! Hmm...I don't know. I just have always thought of it as the unquestioned state of affairs.Gemini Hopeful wrote:Why does everyone think that? I can name you many.NZA wrote:arism87 wrote:Heeyyy it may not be a self-tar but I am not a dude, eitherNZA wrote:

Re: BU 2011 Applicants
just looked through some of last year's BU thread and found good news. A few people in the earliest rounds of acceptances got scholarship notification with the acceptance package, but most people in those same early rounds (1st week of December) seemed to get the letters separately, about 10 days after the phone call/a week or two after the package arrived.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
