I've been complete/pending review since 9/16...crickets. Non-resident, so I figure it's only a matter of time before they ding me.

No not at all-- Straight out of undergrad, no significant W.E. in any way, recs were probably good, but nothing special really

Well you are obvs a special snowflake because you're one of the few OOS RD people to get in! Congraaats! Did you get in by phone call?

IN! I got a call from Jason Dugas. He was really nice. He commented on the quality of my application and my personal statement. I was literally in shock. I'm in-state, but still didn't expect to get in...

You are making me very nervous since I am a 3.4x/173 out of state. Did you write a why UVA?

So today was mostly (or all?) OOS rejections and waitlists? Were there any acceptances today?

It's not on the application, but in an interview with the dean with TLS, they the dean said that they like to see it. From what I heard, it is a must or you will be waitlisted or rejected if OOS RD.
