To those who were denied, I feel bad for you. To those who were waitlisted, take solace in the fact that you have at least heard back from them.

I've been complete/pending review since 9/16...crickets. Non-resident, so I figure it's only a matter of time before they ding me.

IN! I got a call from Jason Dugas. He was really nice. He commented on the quality of my application and my personal statement. I was literally in shock. I'm in-state, but still didn't expect to get in...

Congrats! Your chances were always good with a 3.6/170 IS anyway.

Oh thank you, but I'm already accepted. I meant that I'm jealous that they let you know about your softs, that would be nice.

I feel you - I literally cried on the phone and then yelled the news to my boyfriend in a fit of bliss.

Out by e-mail.
Sent 10/2, Complete 10/4.

I'm a little disappointed, as I think an ED application or in-state residency would have made for a very different outcome.

Still, congrats to everyone who got in! :)

You are making me very nervous since I am a 3.4x/173 out of state. Did you write a why UVA?

It was sent 6-7 hours ago... I just didn't have a chance to check my e-mail until now.

And I didn't write a Why UVa essay. Perhaps another fatal flaw in my app? :P

So today was mostly (or all?) OOS rejections and waitlists? Were there any acceptances today?

It's not on the application, but in an interview with the dean with TLS, they the dean said that they like to see it. From what I heard, it is a must or you will be waitlisted or rejected if OOS RD.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
