Got it. Haven't tried the site yet though. Anyone planning on making a trip? I'm not sure if I'll be able to or not but it would be nice to get a feel for the place.lunaissleeping wrote:anybody get that email about the $200 travel stipend and the admitted students bulletin board just now? my username and password doesn't work.

Thank you! Any other people from CA thinking of flying out to St. Louis for one of the Admitted Student Days? I'm wondering how much the total trip expenses will be... I know they'll be way more than 200.Jackson Pollock wrote:Roger that. Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
I strongly recommend people use their stipends, because campus is awesome, and even if you're only half-heartedly considering WUSTL, a visit might change your mind...seriously. St. Louis is way better than its reputation in the media, too.
Of course, I would wait until March to come out here, because the weather will be much better, and you can go play in Forest Park.
As for me...I just finished my last exam of the semester, and I'm doing a quick nap and then praying that I remember who I am in a few hours.

Except I am not taking a quick nap. I am drinking about a dozen beers, then taking a nap, then waking up drinking more beers.
And yeah, definitely visit.

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
They sent an updated email, btw.
Is St. Louis exciting enough to be worth a visit? A stipend is sweet, but it'd still cost some money and I'm a poor college kid (who is not going to go to WUSTL at all, tbh).
