Anyone who went UR on 12/21/10 still waiting? Should I shoot the admissions office an email? I'm not really sure what I would say in the email though, lol.

I went UR 12/7 and still waiting.

I just got back from a trip to Wake. I had an meeting with the Dean of admissions, got a tour, and got my acceptance as well. I went complete 12/17 (or there abouts) and have been UR ever since. I'm pretty excited about this, since it was one of my top 2 or 3 schools. The campus seems awesome (even in the crappy weather over the last day or two) and Winston-Salem doesn't seem as bad as everyone told me, it had a few cool places that I went to in the afternoon I had to venture around. Anyone else have any opinions on the school and area?

Also, if you have ANY questions about your status, seriously, call the Admissions office. I started dealing with Jenny in the office back in December and she has been seriously the nicest person on Earth over the last month. She is up front and frank about your status and gives really good information and advice on the admissions cycle. Melanie Nutt is the Dean of Admissions and is super nice, as well, and was really easy to talk to with no pressure.

What do you mean when you say you "got your acceptance"? They told you that you were accepted during your visit?

What do you mean when you say you "got your acceptance"? They told you that you were accepted during your visit?

They told me that I would getting an email with my acceptance by the end of the day. I got it about 3 hours later.

Jenny said the next info they are sending out will be about the accepted students days coming up later in the Spring.

Ouch - 10/13 is a long time to be waiting. I'm UR still from 1/12 and i'm having a hard time waiting. GL to you.

Hoping to find the mythical and elusive "Admitted Scholar" status, I noticed today that the "Congratulations!" message has been removed. Begin rampant/unfounded speculation about scholarship info now.

hmm.. upon further investigation... my status checker did the same thing... it's gotta mean something! ha

Maybe they don't want to stroke our egos anymore, so they decided to stop congratulating us every time we log in to the status checker?

I think it definitely has to do with scholarships. My Congratulations is still there and I was accepted 12/10 but with a 160/3.72, which I think puts me out of scholarship range. Congrats, y'all!

Nope, I was accepted the same day and mine still says Congratulations!. I definitely am not expecting a scholarship with my numbers and am thinking they are about to release scholarship info for you guys.

Mine said "Decision Pending" for a while yesterday, then this morning it says "Congratulations", and now I'm back to "Application Complete" with today's date.

Mine never said congratulations, just "Application Complete 1/19"

But y'all were just recent admits. For us that were admitted on 12/10, I'm pretty sure this status change (or lack thereof) indicates an "admitted scholar" is coming soon (or not at all). Your scholarships and all the status hoopla that arises will roll out later this month or early February.

We know that not everyone who was admitted 12/10 changed, but did anyone admitted yesterday NOT change? It's possible that (just like the 12/10 group) that some did and some didn't.

I was accepted 12/10 and my status said "Congratulations" yesterday and now it's back to "Application Complete"

I was accepted yesterday and my status checker says App complete. I think we're all doing the normal TLS thing and reading too much into this.

I'm assuming that for the 12/10 group, if our statuses still say Congratulations, then we will NOT be receiving scholarships. That is all!

Accepted on 12/10, my numbers aren't $ worthy and mine still says "Congratulations".

I was accepted 12/10 with numbers in their scholarship range and my "congratulations" is gone now, so I think it's safe to say we are scholarship people I hope we hear tomorrow!
