Out via e-mail. Not even a waitlist. Oh well. Good luck to everyone else waiting!

Re: GULC Waiting Thread
I applied ED to part time only. I was waitlisted last cycle RD part-time only, so I thought I would have a decent shot. 3.5/168.

Sorry to hear about the dings. I'm RD to pt of ft, with 165/3.62, so this is making me nervous. I submitted on 10/3, and I've been complete as of 10/20, and heard nothing yet.

I'm surprised by both of those. I can't say I've actually done research into numbers for the PT program, but i thought it was a lot easier to get into than FT in years past. Maybe they're trying to make admissions requirements the same for both or bring the PT class down in size? I don't know.

Yep... I'm actually happy now when I get stupid coupons in the mail. If I don't, and don't get any mail for the day, I don't know if I've gotten nothing or it hasn't come yet. Very annoying...hipstermafia wrote:Yep. I don't know that they're necessarily holding our files until Dec. I think this delay is more of an indication that we are not an auto decision either way. I take it from your screen name that you likely have pretty good softs. What are your numbers (if you don't mind my asking)? The only think I can think is that they are deciding if my softs are good enough to overcome my weak numbers (there wasn't a single person who proofread my PS without crying). Let's just be patient and keep our fingers crossed.CoastGuard3 wrote:Capitol A wrote:Sorry to hear about the dings. I'm RD to pt of ft, with 165/3.62, so this is making me nervous. People cried when they read mine too. I think it is because of how terrible it was though.Capitol A wrote:I don't know that they're necessarily holding our files until Dec. Complete 10/21, most recent complete status date 10/28. I applied RD PT, but with the numbers that have been dinged, it seems like I have no chance. Yikes.

Got my interview scheduled for next week. The alum I'm interviewing seems like a unique guy (has had a very atypical law career).

I've looked at the people stuck at 10/20, and the one thing we all have in common is that we have "low" numbers. either they are holding our files for further review because we have strong softs, or the first big wave of RD rejections hasn't come out yet.
