I hope mine isn't too far behind. My app says 'Applied 11/24.'

Cornell must be getting an unprecedented amount of apps this year if many of you are just going complete after sending apps months ago.

Thanks, I got it really early in the morning to, it was already in my inbox around 6 AM. I felt bad wondering about the poor people in the admissions office being up that earlyCupidity wrote:OMFG, I really hope I can say +1 by the end of the day. I have a feeling I'm going to regret this after I've been rejected and it's at the top of my "View your posts" page, but wanted to tag this thread anyways. "In the system" since 12/01...
Good luck, everyone!

Has anyone who was deferred from EA to RD heard anything yet?

No. They probably won't be reviewing us before February.hykang wrote:Has anyone who was deferred from EA to RD heard anything yet?

Re: Cornell waiting room
In the "EA Deferred at Cornell" thread, a current Cornell Law student 1) confirmed my suspicion that many, if not most, of Cornell's 1Ls were EA-Deferred, and 2) said that he was in the first EA-Deferred-Admit batch, which was in early March of last year.hykang wrote:Has anyone who was deferred from EA to RD heard anything yet?
So, I am trying to be patient, hopeful, and optimistic in the mean time. Toward the end of February, the neurosis may return, we'll see.

Considering applicants who applied in mid-November are just now going complete, I wouldn't hold your breath. They're evidently moving at a snail's pace.devilishangelrjp wrote:Nope. I was EA, so I was accepted some time ago. The viewbook just comes later than the initial acceptance.turkishangora wrote:galahad85 wrote:I received the admitted students viewbook binder today. Very impressive.

Re: Cornell waiting room
That binder has moved Cornell up on my list (im easy to please). However, one of the binder rings was bent and evertime I turn a page it gets caught. They have just moved back down on my list (im also easy to anger).CyLaw wrote:+1. My wife's reaction was, "Well, that's fancy."galahad85 wrote:I received the admitted students viewbook binder today. My reaction was: Can I pay $1,000 less in tuition and look at all this kind of stuff online? It's a nice touch but with the ridiculous price of law school nowadays, you would think there a few things they could do without.CyLaw wrote:+1.
