Basically, but if you can get on NALP or something like that and find the hiring person and send it to them directly, that would be better.

Basically, but if you can get on NALP or something like that and find the hiring person and send it to them directly, that would be better.

Get the list of firms from NALP (but not all firms are on their list, there are some weird giant ones missing). Go to each website first and look if they have info on the paralegal hiring process, most will. Also, most call them "legal assistants" or something to that effect, this is the same thing.

Gracias. It may be tough to get, but I think you could nab this in Ohio. NYC is pretty tough to swing since a lot of the kids are ivy/equivalent undergrads and they get recruited on campus beforehand.

Yeah, that's how I feel. I love this school, but I had to take into account how this second school was much cheaper + in the market that I want to end up in eventually. I'm deeply sad. I sincerely thought that I would come here.

Good luck with your decision! It sounds like a good one for you, since it's in the market you want to work in + lower debt. Win/win. But sometimes when you withdraw, a school will offer more money to bring you back. Did you make it clear you were withdrawing for financial concerns? I would, and maybe send them your last offer. Tell them you're withdrawing, but that you'd really like to come etc. the money just doesn't make sense. Wouldn't hurt. Either way, good luck!

Yep but if you honestly want to deposit, I'll bet if you call admissions on Monday and tell them you made an honest mistake but would like to deposit, they will probably let you.

Just read through the c/o 2017 applicants thread. I am sorely disappointed by the lack of debate ITT about if St. Louis is in the south or not.

ETA: To contribute to the discussion--I had always considered all of Missouri southern, but after visiting, I am convinced that St. Louis is at least as much midwestern as it is southern.
