thanks!!! I HOPE this means Im in!!! I'm still well below their gpa median, but I really hope the higher lsat helps enough to overshadow the gpa. I cant wait to update them on Monday.

I was waitlisted for PT in December with a 163/3.3... retook Feb 6 and got a 164. Not thrilled, but hopefully this one point is the difference-maker. It sounds like it could be. Pray for me, please.

I'm a 3.84, 162 from uc berkeley undergrad...I went complete around mid january....I just sent Fordham an email saying I would like to be considered for PT instead of FT... think I have a shot at PT even with a 162 and applying late(in january)?

i was waitlisted in early december. does anyone know when they start admitting people off the waitlist? also...do they reject people on the waitlist? and say they are no longer under consideration? or are we just in limbo forever...?

I think it could, especially if that happens to be exactly what they're raising their medians to (163 to 164)

Congrats again goosey and any other happy Feb re-takers. I went up a mind boggling 9 pts

I hope this won't further delay our decisions. Do any December retakers have info or advice? I've been complete since 12/9 but will my new score report put me in a Feb/March complete pile? Thanks!

So happy for you Goosey! Meanwhile, I think I'm back in the PT game with my 165

. I've forgotten about this thread for months since I decided not to apply, but it's certainly tempting since I've been adding a few T1's anyway. I've already spoken to my employer briefly about the possibility "working something out" during law school, so it's certainly feasible. However, I think I may win the "most schools applied to" award

Congrats to everyone with improved scores...

It looks like Fordham PT is my top choice now based on a new deal with my employer... wish Fordham would make their decisions soon...

Just came on here to say thank you to those who recommended It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on this thread... I started on Friday... and I'm half way through season 3...

From a cursory glance at LSN, it looks like they're trying to push FT to 167 and PT to 164 . . .

it does seem as if they've been tougher LSAT-wise.

though they can't care about LSAT THAT much if they've continued to ignore me. if that was their main goal, i mean. i think soft factors play a role still, and they're not gonna start axing people based on LSAT is my guess. the lady told me i would have an answer by tomorrow, and if i don't, i'm probably going to just withdraw. the only thing my decision is hinging on at this point is $$$, and i'm thinking they're not giving out anymore.

I have no idea dood. I was admitted super early (first batch @ 11/6 for PT) with nothing really startling or crazy about my application and with two lowish numbers. I think that while every school is obviously pushing the rankings, Fordham is doing something inexplicable with their admissions game. For example, TONS of applicants have been denied/WL at fordham so far but have been admitted to T14. There are also a significant amount of low outliers on LSN for Fordham that have been admitted early on in the process.

I'll take this opportunity though to say congrats on your improved LSAT. 165 appears to be the magic # for PT. I hope to see you in the fall!

Wow. What did you do to raise your score so much?

hate to say it, but not much. I work full time, so I took a 5-section PT every weekend leading up to the exam and did sections when I had time after work. The main difference was that I was much more relaxed and focused than September.
