looks like they are waiting to evaluate a ton of js1s at once (all last week and this week) and then pick a select few for js2 next week. agreed?

I agree. maybe its just me but looks like there are tons of JS1 scheduled every week lol but not as many JS2.. I am beginning to doubt the 70% conversion rate..

Unless their class is expanding, this must be the case. They previously offered around 1,000 interviews and this year they are aiming for 1,200.

I kind of like being held. I don't check this thread nearly as often now. Once the first "hold" gets a JS1, I'll be back in full stalker-force, of course. Hasta entonces, good luck to those awaiting JS2s! I'll check ya later.

Help. I woke up this morning and immediately replayed my KB1 in my head and thought about all the parts where it could have gone (did go?) wrong... this is going to be a loooooooong few weeks (months? years????).

This is totally normal. I think my JS1 was the best interview I've ever done and I was still freaking out over what might have gone wrong. My number one fear was that I let an f bomb slip and didn't realize it

That's wild that the interviews are running so late today. I want to say mine was a couple of minutes late, but not bad.

i've been actively trying not to do this, and i feel pretty okay/zen. now it's up to them. just put it completely out of your mind, as much as you're able /redundantadvice

My JS1 is now 5 minutes late. And I don't have a contact. So nervous here. My stomach hurts.

Yeah, she said 10-15 minutes to talk, which I found short. But maybe the interviews are just getting shorter and shorter.

How long did yours last? Also, I think its always been described as a 10-15 minute interview...

Mine was a little under 15 minutes, according to my Skype log. I somehow thought it was 15-20 minutes for some reason... but I guess the last 5 minutes are for them to write notes about us.

I saw the concern on the previous pages and wanted to also add that my interview ran "late." I think I waited about 8-10 minutes on skype before my interviewer contacted me. I was a little worried at first, but after making sure there wasn't anything wrong on my end, I thought she was simply running late, getting paperwork together, bathroom break, etc.

When we started, interviewer told me we had 15 minutes. We talked for 14 minutes and 25 seconds, which inluded 3 questions on my end.

Got my rescheduling cleared up, now time to do some prepping for the interview (which I'm starting to get nervous about). I'm gonna ask a friend of mine to do a mock interview with me over Skype this weekend. Also, was really happy to find that the HLS admissions office was really nice and easy to work with.
