JS1 scheduled for today.
Is it presumptuous if I ask her if there will be another ASW/ admitted students event since we've just missed their ASW last weekend?

Just got a JS1! I was previously held.
Congrats to all the other JS1's - good luck everyone!
(Also, does anyone know if I'm supposed to respond to the JS1 e-mail or just expect a call at the date/time JS requested?)

Looks like they are definitely starting out w/ internationals. Feeling weird for having not heard anything since going UR. I'm assuming I'll just have to wait until they attack the URM pile.bk641 wrote:international, just got the js1.

Haha don't worry guys, sometimes they seem to stagger the JS1s. I guess to space them out for JS? She has a lot of calls to makeGeneva wrote:ME TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Maybe we'll be accepted w/o interviews bc we are JUST THAT AWESOME:-)amc987 wrote:Doorkeeper wrote:*stares at GMail Inbox*

Re: Harvard 2012 applicants (class of 2015)
Congrats to the JS1 recipients today, it's exciting to see some movement from the hold pile at last.
Sure hope one of those emails finds its way to my inbox. I applied two cycles ago and had a pre-Thanksgiving JR1, then ended up waitlisted in April (withdrew immediately from the waitlist because I'd decided at that point I wanted to defer admission, which isn't an option off the waitlist). So after another September submission this time around, it's been a tough wait.

Hmmm. As a held international, not getting a JS1 even now gives the message loud & clear. Was good while it lasted.

Is there a typical time period for the JS1 invites to be sent out? Need to stop the compulsive email refreshing...

Just had my JS1, I think it went quite well. How soon have people been getting JS2s after their JS1s?

It might make sense for them to be going in order...at least that's what I'll tell myself (having been held in February...)bk641 wrote:forgot to mention i was held in december, if that's relevant (think it is)MichelFoucault wrote:Looks like they are definitely starting out w/ internationals. JS1 today...Two questions were asked and I asked a couple. Very short. Simple. Not particularly sure if it went well :-/

But don't worry Poptorts, everyone seems to think they don't do that well. I felt like I totally bombed my second question (she really only asked me two real questions), but I still got the JS2. I believe in you!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
