Question: At this point in the year, is the open house mainly going to be admitted students? I'm currently on the waitlist, so would it be okay for me to attend the open house or would I be completely out of place?

Agreed. Since the admitted students weekend already happened last month, I was actually thinking it would be more waitlisted people anyway.

Have you actually heard from anyone? In the part about what kind of person you'd like to speak to I had some VERY SPECIFIC requests so maybe I won't get a response anyway, but I really hate talking on the phone so I'm a little anxious about it.

I asked to be connected to a current student who is a queer and/or Jewish woman. Which in retrospect sounds like I'm looking for a setup, although tbf, I'm not NOT looking for a setup.

I was just informed that I will not be receiving any scholarship at all. I am confused, to say the least. My numbers aren't the highest, but another friend with lower numbers got a pretty sizable award, so I just don't understand why this is happening. I am pretty heartbroken as WUSTL was my very top choice (a fact that I made known to the admissions office multiple time) and I would not be able to attend at full price. Is there any possibility that they might change their minds later on and throw some $ my way as more people withdraw their offers? I feel so empty right now.

Because we were unable to provide this information before our first deposit deadline, we understand if you no longer wish to reserve a seat in this year’s incoming class. I am very sorry I do not have better news. I know choosing the law school to attend is a complex decision and financial considerations are an important part of the process.

They sent me a prospective student's email and I sent a message and have heard nothing back so I guess they did connect some people.

That is exactly the email I got in response to my first negotiation attempt. I replied to that with a competing offer and then got the big $$. Don't give up!

Looks like I'll be withdrawing. If they hadn't pulled that crap with the stipulations on the scholarship increase, I'd be depositing today and still strongly considering attending next fall. I can't fully commit today and if the scholarship decreases to the original offer, it would no longer make sense to attend.
