Yeah, I put the right Skype address, so far as I remember. Maybe they'll just add me before they call.ManOfTheMinute wrote:You sure you submitted the right skype address? Cicero76, I have a JS1 tomorrow morning and I haven't received a contact request either. I think they'll probably just add us tomorrow.

My skype request was timestamped at like 3am or something ridiculous when I opened it up the day of the interview.
I think someone said they were only added about half an hour beforehand.
It'll be fine!

When was last js2? And what's the shortest and longest amount of time between js1 n js2?

The best ones get it immediately after their Skype call ends.Ph297 wrote:When was last js2? And what's the shortest and longest amount of time between js1 n js2?
Longest is months...
Shortest is probably a couple of days (time between their interview and the next batch of JS2s)

Help. I woke up this morning and immediately replayed my KB1 in my head and thought about all the parts where it could have gone (did go?) wrong... this is going to be a loooooooong few weeks (months? years????).

Not only did they never add me as a contact, HLS is ten minutes late for my interview. This is a nightmare.

You're kidding... maybe you entered your Skype username incorrectly? They never let you see it or edit it after initially entering it. But hopefully they're just running late! (Which makes you look better.)Cicero76 wrote:Not only did they never add me as a contact, HLS is ten minutes late for my interview. This is a nightmare.

Wouldn't worry, I was the first interview of the day when I did mine and KB was like 8 minutes late. Bonus points to you for posting to TLS at a time that is techincally during your JS1 though.Cicero76 wrote:Not only did they never add me as a contact, HLS is ten minutes late for my interview. All worry for nothing. Interview went fantastically well, JS is amazing. I should probably delete that panic post before I out myself.

Yay, great job! I would take the panic of them being late in exchange for a great interview.Cicero76 wrote:All worry for nothing. Interview went fantastically well, JS is amazing. I should probably delete that panic post before I out myself.

looks like they are waiting to evaluate a ton of js1s at once (all last week and this week) and then pick a select few for js2 next week. agreed?

My JS1 is now 5 minutes late. And I don't have a contact.
So nervous here. My stomach hurts.

I agree. maybe its just me but looks like there are tons of JS1 scheduled every week lol but not as many JS2.. I am beginning to doubt the 70% conversion rate..az21833 wrote:looks like they are waiting to evaluate a ton of js1s at once (all last week and this week) and then pick a select few for js2 next week. agreed?

Perhaps they're also breaking away from the traditionally strong linear relationship between JS1 date and JS2 date, so a larger percentage of folk will get their JS2 after HLS has done more JS1s...spyke123 wrote:I agree. maybe its just me but looks like there are tons of JS1 scheduled every week lol but not as many JS2.. OMG. My JS1 actually started at the exact moment when I was posting here.
JS was so pleasant! I think I babbled and nervously giggled most of the time and I don't remember what I actually said. It only lasted 15 minutes and I only had like 4-5 standard questions. I swear my English is usually way better! Ugh....But I think I definitely conveyed my passion and interest.
Still shaking...

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
It seems a little irrational to try to correlate percentages with the little information we have, particularly if we are going to correlate the numbers in such a way that drives the folks still waiting into a panic. I'd say it looks like there will be a percentage approaching 90 this year, with everyone who has been waitlisted or held after a JS1 ultimately being offered admission in the next few weeks. Also, all JS1s from today will get a JS2 call later this afternoon. I also suspect several of us gave our previous cell phone numbers and have already been called back for JS2, we just don't know yet. At least I hope that's my situation.ManOfTheMinute wrote:Perhaps they're also breaking away from the traditionally strong linear relationship between JS1 date and JS2 date, so a larger percentage of folk will get their JS2 after HLS has done more JS1s...spyke123 wrote:I agree. maybe its just me but looks like there are tons of JS1 scheduled every week lol but not as many JS2..
