Isn't Harvard the one school where you DON'T email stuff?Geneva wrote:Thanks. I think for LOCIs you want to submit by snail mail, but the general consensus seems to be that you should only do that after you get news of a hold.Geneva wrote:Thanks. Ah. Is the snail mail/holding off part true only true for Harvard or does it apply to other schools as well?captainwasabi09 wrote:I think for LOCIs you want to submit by snail mail, but the general consensus seems to be that you should only do that after you get news of a hold.Geneva wrote:Thanks. "Other schools" is a large category, but in Harvard's neck of the woods, no.Geneva wrote:Ah. Is the snail mail/holding off part true only true for Harvard or does it apply to other schools as well?
Edit: That sounded stupid. Keeping it because I live with no regrets.

Can you give us your stats (LSAT, GPA, what kind of school you attended, URM status, etc.) and tell us when you submitted, were under review, and held? Any info would be much appreciated!poultry wrote:My hand is shaking...JS 1 from the hold pile

I went UR on 1/31 and I have a sub-75 LSAT and a median GPA.
Why haven't I been rejected yet?

Hold to JS1 an hour ago. International/174/Superior, strong soft. Completed 10/13, held early Jan.

i just worry about those of us that have neither been placed on hold nor received JS1 emails...Doorkeeper wrote:Huh...so maybe internationals are getting the first Hold -> JS1s? Interesting...
if i'm going to be rejected or waitlisted, i'd rather know sooner rather than later! i'm surprised the holds are seeing movement before those of us just chilling UR

Because unless you meant sub-25 LSAT, those numbers make you a very competitive applicant.

Congrats to the JS1s, I too got one from the hold pile. I'm super nervous/excited. Stats are in the profile, and I submitted mid-November and was held in early February. Good luck everyone!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
