That's good to know. Thanks for keeping my hope alive.
I don't expect to get in, but didn't expect to get rejected so fast either. I figure my #'s are borderline, so I thought I'd at least be kept in the pool for a little longer.

wow, I'm sorry to hear that. congratulations on Yale though!! that's amazing! do you mind sharing your numbers and dates?
Thanks. Honestly, I like the idea of not having real grades to worry about anymore lol, so Yale it is for me.
I have 173 (retake from 163, 169), and a 3.9+ in both majors/minors
I went complete 19th/20th dec from what I can recall right now, and I got a call on the 11th of Feb late in the afternoon.

I can't say with any certainty, but when I responded to my JR1 invitation, the automatic kickback e-mail said the admissions office would be closed until Tuesday. The e-mail came on Friday, I responded on Saturday, so I think it's safe to assume that nothing's coming out [except acceptances, it appears] until tomorrow at the earliest.

That seems to be a pretty good indication that Yale doesn't necessarily discriminate against people with multiple LSAT scores. I'm a three-time taker myself so hopefully I have similar good fortune.

I think it's a pretty good indication that Yale is really random. There are 60 Yale professors who participate in the review process, and your fate rests on the whims of the three who happen to look at your app. Some of the Yale profs probably look down on multiple retakes; others may not care.

When did you get your JR1 email? The only JR1s emails we've seen were back in January and then last Friday, so it seems JR1s might have gone out on other days too...

Hey folks, I'm sure this has probably been addressed hundreds of times, but I've got a quick question: is it possible to get waitlisted/held at HLS without a JR1?
