Thanks! I honestly wasn't expecting to get one. Looks like there's a few more slots so maybe some more invites are going out.

Got an email with the subject "Invitation Only" and thought "OH MY GOD TODAY IS THE DAY HARVARD INVITES ME TO INTERVIEW" but alas, it was merely a sale for an overpriced website.

I got an email from a TTT telling me their deadline to apply had been extended.

Yeah, no thanks.

Do we think the HLS c/o 2019 fb page is a good indicator of the total amount of admits that have gone out to-date?

There's 412 in the group right now, and I understand around 12 are faculty or current students.

Is it safe to assume there's still ~400+ JS2's that will go out before this is all said and done? Or, is it more accurate to think of the 412 in the group as likely attendees, meaning there's closer to 150 spots left in the class of 2019, thus maybe less that 250 JS2's left for the rest of us waiters?

I know a decent amount of people in the group who are still deciding where to attend and not yet set on HLS. However, I am sure there are plenty of people with JS2s who don't have Facebook or have not joined the group yet. I don't have any clue what that equates to in remaining spots.

I think its safe to assume that no one really has a clue how many JS2s are left and we use guessing and rampant speculation as nothing more than catharsis for the pit of anxiety law school admissions is

I don't think that this is a great way to determine the number of admits. The HLS page requires that you request to be added, rather than many of the schools that will send you an invitation. I know admits have reported their requests to join being denied. Also, it takes some time for the admissions staff to verify identities and accept requests, meaning those admitted last week might not be added yet!

That being said, I think that those in the group are not just likely attendees, as there is a lot of overlap between those in the YLS and HLS 2019 facebook groups, and obviously these people will not matriculate to both. There are generally ~900 admits for each year (including those who come off the waitlist), so based on the current number in the facebook group, I would guess there are still ~250-300 JS2s to come (including those off the waitlist).

I don't think that there have ever been multiple JS1 waves in the same day? At least not this cycle. I bet that they will have more soon though because it doesn't seem like there are a ton of JS2 waiters, it seems like most people who have had JS1s have been dinged or JS2ed at this point (some exceptions of course - including recent interviews)

Except for me :(
Went complete in first week of december, JS1 2/18, silence ever since. Each wave chips away at my soul

I think within the last month counts as recent, especially since you have to go through faculty review after your interview. And according to the spreadsheet, the average time between a JS1 and decision is 47.2 days. Waiting is terrible, but don't feel too bad yet!

Waiting since my JS1 mid-January...I am in the same boat as y'all! The wait is awful, but there are people who've gone much longer between the two.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
