Thanks. I'm a late applier so now knowing the numbers seems way more hopeful. Hope there's good news for everyonelawschool22 wrote:Closer to 860ish will be accepted. I certainly hope so. Mort, what's your status anyway, did you have a JS1 and are awaiting JS2?Mort_the_Tort wrote:¿ tomorrow ?

12/16 here. I'm pretty sure there was one person complete around 12/18 who reported getting a JS1, but I haven't seen any others.malleus discentium wrote:Complete 12/18, no JS1nothingtosee wrote:Have any complete 12/18 or later gotten js1?

You haven't gotten a JS1 yet with your numbers? That makes me much less anxious.koalacity wrote:12/16 here. I mean, I think you should be feeling pretty anxious with your 175/3.9. Looks like Harvard hardly ever accepts applicants with those numbersmalleus discentium wrote: You haven't gotten a JS1 yet with your numbers? That makes me much less anxious.

Some folks mentioned earlier that JS2 calls often start around 3pm. Is that a hard and fast rule or just a general trend?

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
There was some discussion about this the other day. The official TLS page on retaking (found here: http://www.top-law-schools.com/retaking-the-lsat.html) has a table which claims Harvard takes the average of LSATs. I presume the source of this is a survey of the law schools. However someone (lawschool22?) mentioned that the anecdotal evidence seems to suggest that many of these schools actually take the highest. I don't have any statistics on that, but that's the word on the street.hwannabe1234 wrote:Third time taker.

FWIW, IIR, the schools are only required to consider highest LSATs on their disclosures, which in turn influence the USNWR rankings etc. So if schools are interested in gaming the rankings, the top LSAT is the only one they need to consider.

By all anecdotal evidence we have, they only take the highest. As Irish points out, that is all that is reported to USNews.hwannabe1234 wrote:Third time taker.

What kind of numbers are you looking at? Are we talking about huge jumps or just a steady climb up?hwannabe1234 wrote:Third time taker.

You'll be fine. There are plenty of examples of TLS'ers with similar trajectories whose cycles indicate that HLS only ultimately cares about the top score.hwannabe1234 wrote:I have one high 150s (1st time) and high 160s (2nd), and 174(third take)IrishJew wrote:What kind of numbers are you looking at?
