I sent them an updated resume in an e-mail attachment. They replied very quickly saying thank you and that they would add it to my file.Elric wrote:complete in Dec and silence ever since...so I can only guess I'm still in the running.
Anyone know the best way to send them updated materials (e.g. resume)?
I got mine on the third, and sent my response on the fifth.flv wrote:When did you guys get your LOCI requests?

glad you got in dude. Now here's to another wave of "you should totally send a LOCI" emails from CLSblue_c wrote:I'm pretty sure Columbia is a better fit, and I'll be there in the end. never received an updated transcript request for fall grades
I think that's everything.
no, but that bodes REALLY well for you, considering the recent results of the other group that got it.80eight wrote:Did anyone else JUST get the "submit a LOCI" email yesterday?
As JMJ said, this is a REALLY good sign. Quick question: did the email ask you to submit application updates to Danielle Flores or to the director of admissions directly?80eight wrote:Did anyone else JUST get the "submit a LOCI" email yesterday?
Hmm. Hopefully! Though I don't have any new information or awards to update about.KevinP wrote:Do we think any EDers may hear back next week? I know an ED deferral is typically the kiss of death, but I have a reason to think that I may yet get into my original dream school, and that would just be unreal.

I didn't have any idea what to say either, so I took a couple days and got some advice from a couple people. In the end, my first paragraph just said that Columbia is my top choice, and that I want to live in New York, giving a few reasons why. My second paragraph I just talked about a couple of things that I'm doing at the moment (as a research assistant and a senior project leader) and what I'm learning from them that will make me a better lawyer/law student, and a better asset to Columbia. You probably don't need that much, I just didn't know whether they were looking for extra information about me to make me stand out or just protecting their yield.80eight wrote: Hmm. Hopefully! It asks to submit to the director of admissions.

Oh ok. =]. Well I hope you get good news soon.80eight wrote:No, this is the first request for me.
IDK whether there is precedent from previous years. I still maintain that the letter means "tell us you're interested, we'll let you in"WhiteGuy5 wrote:JamMasterJ wrote:no, but that bodes REALLY well for you, considering the recent results of the other group that got it.80eight wrote:Did anyone else JUST get the "submit a LOCI" email yesterday?
Wait...is this your SECOND request?
What about the people who got the first email but didn't get a response/didn't get this second request?

40 more sounds good to me. 10% of the incoming class! hahaJamMasterJ wrote:let's get about 10 more of these, eh?Mista Bojangles wrote:Just withdrew, so another spot and $60k will be freed up there somewhere, best of luck all.
