why NYU over Columbia? Just curious, was it the $?
The money helped but I just really didn't like CLS. Spoke to friends at both and everyone at NYU loved it while i could not say the same about those at Columbia. There was something off about it. Also, the prestige difference is also less drastic than those on TLS make it seem.

this reserve email was pretty hysterical, especially: "Then, later in the season after we've begun to hear back from people already accepted (usually by mid-to-late May), we decide if further offers are appropriate." uh, so like now? update your template guys.

why was that email hysterical? it's starting to be mid-may, so i'll give them a few days, maybe even a couple weeks.

I have it at home somewhere. My 2nd review was 5/3, 3rd review 5/10. I'll edit this later.

edit: My first review date was 4/27.

Thank you! Good luck with the Reserve -- show them you really want to attend and I bet you have a shot.

Last week I pretty much figured I had bad news coming from the rest of my schools, but my friends told me to keep my head up and then today: in. Keep your head up. Good luck!

I think I got 3 and then a decision. I can't believe people still do not have their decisions yet. Cornell really taking a long time with this.

Working third shift and keep waking up too late to call the office. Any news on when those of us on Reserve might start hearing? I've got a second deposit deadline coming up on June 1, and this one isn't refundable. Not that the original refundable one is still refundable.

I'm in the same boat, minus the third shift (ouch!). Good luck to you and I hope we hear an answer soon...

Does anyone have an idea when they would (roughly) start reviewing reserve applicants? Or have they already started and I'm just not getting the hint? I feel like I sound like a broken record...

Broken record, maybe, but I'll echo this question. Any reserve news?

I got over my "ohmygod I hate Cornell's admissions office" and kept my name on the list.

If they haven't finished going through the applicant pool I imagine they're not even thinking about the reserve list yet. Sucks because 2nd deposit deadlines are coming up sooner than later... :|

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
