Status Update 3/2
Program changed from both to full-time
Country of Citizenship went to USA
But can't generate ASW password.
Should I be expecting bad news?

I'd decided not to go to GULC until I got the personalized note from Dean Cornblatt. It was so nice that I'm now considering Gtown again. Decisionmaking fail

This is probably a dumb question. So I know changes are a good sign, but I can't remember if mine always said USA or not. I went complete 1/4 and hadnt heard anything since so I never checked until today when it updated to 3/2. So is it safe to assume it changed and not that it always said USA?
Why the hell can't they just send an email one way or the other instead of making me wait all weekend?

I just got my hand-written note from the dean. It's the most classy letter I've ever received.

Congrats! Just be prepared to be patient. Someone said that to me when I generated a password, and there is a lot of waiting. But it's worth it when you receive the official letter. Based on my experience, and that of many others, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.pcwcecac wrote:

Agreed! A friend of mine used to be a student ambassador at GULC and he said Dean Cornblatt really puts time and thought into the letters and really cares about knowing the students personally.westcoast wrote:I just got my hand-written note from the dean. So I just generated a username and password for the asw, but when I try to use them to actually log on to the asw, it doesn't work. Is this normal? Does it generally take a few days to actually be able to log in?

Accepted!!! I didn't do as well as I liked on the LSAT but am so happy to be in. However, with no scholarship (most likely) I probably won't attend GT as $200k of debt is just too much.

I sent a three or four line email reply to the original waitlist message indicating that Gtown was very high up in my list, but that was it. Best of luck to you!melt wrote:Thank you for the input!GeneralGrey wrote:I was put in the special group and 2 weeks later was able to access the ASW, though I haven't yet received any physical confirmation of acceptance. Congrats! The acceptance email can be much slower than that. Your numbers are great, esp the GPA.
Did you send a LOCI ? Wonder if they will auto get someone off that list.

Just got a letter today saying I've been accepted at GULC! I was placed in the special group of the preferred waitlist at the beginning of January, so if you're in the same boat, don't give up hope!
