Lol.
I applied EA and got deferred to the regular applicant pool, then got reserved. So I guess that puts me as EA reserved? lol

Wow, I just saw your numbers but it looks like an auto-admit to me.. I'm guessing it's the "yield protect"?

I'm guessing it has a little to do with that and a little to do with the rest of my application being wack. Very little WE and what not.

Just looked at the status checker for the first time in a while, and there was movement 5/17.

Everyone else have that, too?

Assuming you aren't sure if you had a 5/14 update in addition to the 5/17 ?

TOOL and I both had 5/14 updates.

Gotcha.

Yes, I haven't checked it since April, so I didn't know if there had been updates on more than one day.

After a refreshing break, (and a reserve) I'm back. I'm not sure whether I got the 5/14 update as I had turned off my status checker, which was wonderfully liberating. I did get the 5/17, though.

Onward we go. :|

Updated again today.

Now I'm at:

deferred 12/16, reserve 3/13, update 5/14 - 5/22

I appreciate your optimism, but I refuse to believe it!

After being denied so many times I am bracing for the FINAL waitlist.

Wondering if any of you know if, in years past, Cornell accepted applicants straight off the reserve list, rather than place them on the wait list, first?

It looks like a few (and I mean a few, lol) were accepted straight off of the reserve list. The rest were waitlisted with some getting accepted from there. Still, though, chances look slim.

Is it the most expensive? When I went to visit, financial aid made sure to say that they are now NOT the most expensive school haha
