I am pretty desperate, because after 6 month, it is down to the last week or so. So my anticipation and anxiety is finally building.

perhaps I am jaded but I assumed that they were making decisions daily (they have to be doing something all day) but what irks me is that they don't seem to be releasing those decisions daily

Well, the one consolation we have is that even though we were all joking about how we hoped we would be those people Dean Deal hung on to for so long just to try to fit us in, we actually are those people. Haha.

so the bunch of acceptances at the end of last week was the last big wave (that corresponds to the spike on apr 2 of last year's decision dates graph), right?

Someone said they were making decisions daily now, so I would expect that wave to continue until the end of this business week.

The bloodbath occurred mostly from March 8th until April 6th, although obviously many people still got rejected after that period.

Those of us who are still alive--I actually think we're not in horrible shape. It definitely looks like it's going to come down to the wire, though, so good luck to us all!

Yeah, although the acceptances were April 7-9 last year, which corresponds to April 6-8 this year. Also, as I mentioned earlier, ASW is a week earlier this year, so that may throw off their timetable.
