OMFG I just got waitlisted...hahah! Are you serious?! Did anyone else get waitlisted at 11:11pm CST?!?! I knew my LOCI received earlier today stopped me from getting waitlisted, but only got 12 hours?! So strange.....

Very confused....thinking about calling on monday asking 'what/why'.

I think it would be worth at least calling and double checking that they received your LOCI ... they might just say, yeah, we got it, Dean Z read it, sorry. At the very least it shows you are very interested and actually care.

However, if it were my life, I'm pretty lazy and don't like calling admissions offices and probably wouldn't do it. I also recognize that I make stupid choices a lot tho.......

They got my LOCI because they sent me an email saying they added it to my file, but it is still a strange event. I had a feeling earlier today that my LOCI stopped the waitlist email, but I had no idea that it would come at 11:09pm insead. I'm sure its real though, and it makes a bit of sense.

I doubt it. Qualtrics is a survey company. All others came from umich.edu. Also, every e-mail I have (including the Christmas Eve we just admitted you e-mail) is signed:

You getting it right now might be an artifact of their e-mail system. I imagine these things are sent in batches by some automated process working on a schedule. It's possible that there was a glitch with one of the servers, which then sent out stuff that had been in the queue prior to the failure. Weren't they having problems with their admitted student site a few days back?

Though they do list UMich as a client. Why would it come from a survey program though?

I think its real, the email includes a link to a survey (at qualtrics) which wants me to give me name, Mich ID, and if I want to be on the waitlist or not. Seems legit, just such an perplexing time to get it. I agree that it is probably a glitch in the system as a result of updating my file around the same time as the waitlist emails with my LOCI.

Who knows man. My LSAT score was delayed because my test got lost in the mail. Eventually all of my apps released and I found my score on the PDFs. (This was in Dec.) My score never showed on the site until Jan...and I got an official score notice in the mail last week.
