Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Seems like the majority (except one) of rejections don't go beyond Feb 5th complete day. This makes me nervous since I went complete on Feb 6th - would not be surprised for bad news tomorrow.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Although this is just a gut feeling, I really think that in the next JS1 wave (which will include applicants who applied at the deadline), they will give a strong re-look at some of the applicants who applied earlier but so far have been passed over but not yet rejected. I'm still crossing my fingers!Oskosh wrote:But at this point, we can't CONCLUSIVELY say those of us who have been passed over are certain WLs/dings, right? Surely there remain some positive news for some of us.

I thought the movement chart from yesterday comparing this cycle to last was interesting, so I made a new one, this time for JS2 movement. I think all it does is visualize how different this cycle is from last, and that we all have basically no idea what is going on. Lol.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Good stuff. Just eyeballing the graph, last year at this time we were through 70% of JS2s. This year, we're at less than half. There are plenty more admits to go around people, we just need to be patient.pylon wrote:I thought the movement chart from yesterday comparing this cycle to last was interesting, so I made a new one, this time for JS2 movement. Easier said than done, though.

I think it makes sense for this wave to get started at 1pm, as the last did wave did. After 1p I'm giving up hope for today.qwertyTLS wrote:qwertyTLS wrote:reposting because hopefully it will come in handy today:
