Dude, as I've already mentioned today, NU is the 3rd best school for San Fran big law behind Stanford then Berkeley. Go to mylsn personalized ranking, make everything 100+ attorney firms and San Fran location, and try it. Depending in changing the numbers around it may change, but NU is generally way up there.WhiskeynCoke wrote:Correct. However, B is far and away my dream school (as in the last 5 years of my life have been basically structured around the unlikely dream of attending... and I got in). Theres a million reasons why this is the case but most obviously it's because I'm shooting for SF big law (very insulated.. unlikely to land it from NU). I know that paying sticker for Berkeley over $90k at NU is incredibly, astronomically idiotic, but I may end up doing just that (and regretting it one day).I thought Berk famously snubbed NU on the matching program?
YOLO.......

Forgive me, but I've fished around Mylsn for a bit and I can't seem to figure out how you're generating this statistic. I only see a "proximity to state" category (which seems to refer to how physically close the school is to the selected state). Where's the "SF Biglaw" category? Can you link it? Is it this site?Dude, as I've already mentioned today, NU is the 3rd best school for San Fran big law behind Stanford then Berkeley. I'm starting to get a little despondent over here Johann.
But honestly though guys, congrats. Seeing all these offers really does make me happy.

Is anyone else here still waiting for a decision and hasn't even been "held" by NU? If so, what's your complete date?
I applied in early November, complete since mid-January.
BigZuck are you in my boat too or just despondent at no $$ yet?

Most likely Duke, UT, Cornell, or NU. The final decision will largely come down to money.WhiteyCakes wrote:Where are you leaning right now, Zuck?BigZuck wrote:I'm starting to get a little despondent over here Johann.

Risa, I've been accepted but no money as of now.

They are planning on cutting class size by around 10%/20-25 students this year.WhiteyCakes wrote:Can someone refresh me on NU's new class size?
