By the looks of LSN, NYU seems pretty stingy with WL -> Accepted applicants. Probably going to withdraw in light of my other options.

I have developed a theory. The way my PS is written dissuaded H and Y. However, many other schools are YPing me because I have strong numbers and strong softs. That's why I've gotten a massive scholarship to the few schools I've actually gotten into. I've been caught in limbo for a lot of the cycle, between being YP'd and getting full-rides. Part of the problem was that I applied in January after a lot of the potential scholly recipients would have applied.

UVA finally came through for me after their scholly deposit deadline though. I'll be there in liu of an H acceptance or a full ride at CCNP.

Does anyone know about how long it takes for an email to show up after DLS? I've refreshed my inbox way too many times in the past few minutes... DO IT QUICK, LIKE A BAIND-AID, NYU!
