I've been on the preferred waitlist since February 10th

Does anyone know anything about when some of us will get pulled off of it? From what I understand, those on the special list have already been getting in, but those of us on the preferred and regular list have to wait until at least April. From there, they seem to slowly accept a couple another names from the list: in previous years, I've heard about people getting extended an offer of acceptance as late of August! Anyone heard anything different or have any predications?

The (regular w/l) e-mail I got says that applicants may be admitted "as late as registration day in August."

I, for one, can't wait that long.

I updated today. 3rd time going complete, and from 2/28. Mine also updated to say USA.

Add me to the list of the "special" group within the preferred WL. Does anybody know if this actually means something or does everyone get the same message? I thought I would be an auto-admit, so perhaps some YP?

Thanks! I take it that the "usa" is a strong indication of acceptance... I'm 173 and 3.5. Interviewed a week ago today.

OK... so there are THREE wait lists, or just two? is it a regular wait list, a preferred wait list, and a special wait list? is the special WL the only good/hopeful one?

No I haven't tried asw yet, I want to wait at least a day or two to let things update so I don't freak out when it doesn't work haha. Hopefully you hear good news soon as well, if I recall correctly, we have similar numbers...

Interviewed last Thursday and also changed to USA and was just able to generate password. So it looks real good for you
