So, Joe Biden is going to be a professor at Penn. Too late to submit an app?

Applicants down 1.5% but applications up .1%. I wonder if that will mean anything.

I'm useless when it comes to numbers, but I have to imagine those dips of 11.6% and 26.1% are going to devastate a lot of the 25th and 75th percentiles across the T14, to say nothing of the medians. Especially if the previous data holds true and the 170-174 range increase is almost entirely made up from a large boost of just the 170s.

I'm no Will Hunting, but I think this bodes well for most 165+ scorers.

I don't think the 175-180 will really impact much. The 165-169 will probably have a big impact. The 170-174 is being kept afloat solely by a sharp spike in 170's iirc but the rest of the bracket is down.

You may be right on the 175-180 band - it's such a small pool to begin with. Might have schools dip to lower scores for scholarship money, tough. That's what this guy is hoping for at least.

In my mind, if 171+ is way down, a lot of the upper T14 is going to have to reach deeper this year.

It will be interesting to see how 169 median schools cope since that is a modal score that is down the most.

A bottle of wine + an empty apartment (other than my pup <3) + Spotify's Relax & Unwind playlist = my perfect Tuesday night

Also, TJ's social snacker crackers are SO GOOD

Just wanted to share with someone

You guys think it's worth to toss apps to GWU and Indiana at this time? With the way the LSAT bands are down this cycle I'm trying to get some leverage for BC (top choice) but the money's probably drying up at schools by now or I wouldn't get anything better relative to a BC scholly. I'd be LSAT>75 and GPA<25 at both. Got a full to Northeastern and still waiting to hear about admittance from BU as well.

Solicit waivers. Doesn't hurt.

I love that tie sporting mo'fo' on the right. I'll get a picture of my dogs.

To the people talking about scores, I think the giant decrease in 165-169 is going to be quite beneficial to *anyone* over this threshold. Keep in mind, pretty much every school outside of HYS *needs* 165-169 people to maintain their medians. You also need to keep in mind the relative size of those pools. A decrease of x% among 165-169 scorers is more people than the same percent increase of 170-174 scorers. 170+ is roughly 2.5% of test takers whereas 165-169 is closer to 5.5%. I do think 171+ are going to have fantastic cycles, but I think anyone who broke the 165 will see some benefit.
