At least its not Columbia where one day, you don't know when, the mailbox fairy will hopefully deliver puke to your doorstep. I'm in PA so my fingers are crossed that it was in fact postmarked 1/21 and it'll get here today. A man can dream right?

I'm blasting the new Kanye CD, its terrific and a great way to relieve stress!

I get it that NYU probably does the letter thing for the psychological advantage of having their admittees get the news from a nice thick sexy piece of bond paper rather than a phone call or an email, but here's the thing: two fairly closely ranked schools have admitted me through more instantaneous means in the 3 days I've spent compulsively checking the mailbox for the NYU letter. Not exactly tipping my mental scales in favor of NYU, ya know? All the anticipation that NYU thinks I've been building up for their hopefully-purple envelope has been massively overshadowed by YAY I'M IN AT PENN AND BERK feelings.

I think it can, and I'm hoping. I've had plenty of things get to and from Michigan and NY in a two days. Why not this one?

wait it was postmarked 1/20 and someone on the west coast already got it? strange. that's prettty freakin fast. maybe he signed up for DLS prime.

I hope this wasn't answered already, but the deadline for the scholarship essay for which I applied was January 1st. You should just call them though, if they haven't looked at them yet, they very well might still accept it. I'm fairly certain the essay I wrote would only apply to the one I was applying to.

Hey Ship87, ima let you finish your cycle but kanye had one of the best cycles of all time. Of all time.

Per his Twitter, he is going to release a new album sometime this summer.

Anyone know if a LOCI for NYU should be double spaced? I think not. Also, should I indent the couple of paragraphs or just leave them to the left mar? I think yes. Thanks!

Standard business letter format is to single space and not to indent. I'd go with that.

I'm 1/21 as well. I refuse to believe that every single one of us got rejected. I feel like at least one of us had to get in, so I'm going to hold out hope until a) someone gets into the site or b) my damn letter gets here. Michigan is not that far from New York, dammit.
