I think I will pass on calling just to hear I have been rejected or at best deferred. Still EAC 11/3. I can wait on the rejection letter. lol

you could try and call the office. they seem open, sometimes, to revealing your decision status over the phone. sounds like a reserve/ding though, maybe not.

No they just haven't been able to let you know your application is complete because they've been doing all the EA people. And on top of that everyone and their brother has been calling and pestering them and not letting them get their work done.

I'm in! I must be one of the last EA people to get the email, the acceptance made up for the wait!

Congrats to everyone else who got the email today! Did any of you get mention of scholarships in your email, btw?

I too got the acceptance email sometime late this afternoon. Was not expecting it as this point given its so late in the month! My email said nothing about scholarships. Does anyone know when the non- Dean's Scholars merit aid is given out?

I'm still at EAC complete 11/13. When I called this morning they said I'd have my decision tomorrow. With all the acceptances going around I hope that bodes well for me!

Together with need-based aid right around March.

Don't worry too much if you did not get a Dean's Scholarship offer. You could still get a significant offer in March!

rejected... but the letter said I applied Early Action... but I did not.

Kind of disappointed they didn't even know whether I applied EA or not

Well, mine still says EAC 11/23, but I wasn't sure if it was really considered EA, since the date is so late. So I called yesterday, and she said I could call back today to get my decision, as they hadn't made it as of the time I called yesterday.

So I called a bit ago, and she told me.

It's ok. Kinda stings a little, but I don't think I really wanted to go to Ithaca, anyway. I'm still set on NU, so we'll see how that goes.

Well, I'm the one who called, and she did ask if I wanted to hear it over the phone after stating that the letter had gone out. So it seems like they are mailing them today, but most people won't get them until at least, what, Monday?
