Just heard from a really nice woman in the admissions office that Adcoms are meeting to review files less frequently during the holiday season.

Translation: Don't freak out if it's taking a long time for your status to change- this is normal.

I'm still UR 12/10. 169/3.67, which isn't great, but shouldn't be rejecting numbers. I'm not sweating.

UR updated today. UR 10/28 -> Interview 11/19 -> UR 11/19 -> UR 12/16. With the batch of rejections/WLs yesterday, I'm assuming/hoping tomorrow's DR will be acceptances.

Is that the general trend? UR update then DR the next day?

Has anyone who went DR on 12/15 (who is ED) gotten an email today yet? I know a bunch of people got them yesterday... and I'm starting to get more nervous.

I'm the same as you, DR 12/15 ED with no email yet. Also getting more nervous.

What is the approximate waiting time to get a letter via mail? I was UR 12/10 and went DR 12/14.

This is all so anticlimactic, though. It seems that everyone who goes DR and gets WL or Rejected receives an email within a day or two. Those that are accepted receive notification via snail mail. Is that right? If so, it makes the whole process far less exciting. If they had scholarship offers with the acceptances, THEN it would be exciting.

I'm UR as of 12/10 for RD, PT. I have very borderline numbers even for pt (2.99, 170), so every day I don't hear back I think of it as living to fight another day.

Went complete as of 12/15...numbers in profile, Georgetown is basically a pipe dream, but I guess it is worth the $92 for a 0.1% chance of getting in...
