Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Really sorry to those who are being dinged. Presently there are many of us who have not received JS1s and who have yet to be dinged, so this date would be useful to us.

SC is unreliable (from what I've seen, they take a day or two to update), so e-mail's the one to watch.DiniMae wrote:I didn't see this in the what to expect thread, but how are you notified of a ding/WL? Email only? Email + SC simultaneously? SC first?
I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth it to check my SC or wait for an email or phone call.

Harvard, instead of a travel stipend, please consider a booze-while-waiting-anxiously stipend. $200-300 should about cover it. Also, you probably owe my employer several thousands in lost productivity to cover my constantly hitting F5. Please and thank you.

This. Except I'm freelance, so I'll take the low productivity compensation in the form of need-based aid. I got my ding via email at 2:12 yesterday afternoon... didn't check SC until now but now it says decision rendered and in mailings I have decision notification sent.
Good luck to all still waiting!!

does the fact that the rejections started so early in the morning mean anything for potentially more movement this afternoon?

Thoughts on the remaining JS1s (or at least a larger proportion of them) being post-waitlist JS1s?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
