I'm also just really annoyed at Penn for not getting back to me since I've been UR2 since 2/4, and I applied in November...
I seriously considered withdrawing, at this point there is a slim to zero chance that i'll be attending Penn even if I do get in because i've already gotten in to schools that I like better.
But I figured I might as well ride it out, it won't do me any good to withdraw, and at this point, waiting longer doesn't really do me any harm. On the off chance that I get in with money, I can use it as leverage to negotiate with other schools.
I feel you though, I'm really annoyed with Penn and their shenanigans too.
+1
This is exactly how I feel on every point.

Finally went UR2! I'm hoping I'll get a decision soon!!! Has UR2 --> decision been relatively quick for most people?

UR2 today. Submitted on 2/26, UR1 3/11. Don't think I have a shot in hell, but is a UR2 a positive move?
Edit: made my dates a bit easier to understand

I'm pretty convinced Penn is waiting for me to get to 1000 posts in order to admit me with lots of money!

UR1: 2/24
UR2: 3/27
Hopefully I will hear some news next week.
It is strange. I submitted all of my apps in mid-late January. I was admitted to a bunch of schools (some really top ones) in February. But now it seems like I am in pergatory for some of these mid-low T14s. I think my numbers are good enough to admit, but they may have already admitted a large number of people. I get the sense that waiters at this point are waiting because schools are trying to gauge how many people already admitted withdraw, and then open up spots slowly. My second theory is that I may be in a YP situation where my apps are being reviews toward the end of the cycle (due to my submit time) and they don't want to use a late admit spot on someone who may go somewhere else. At least that is what I am hoping is happening to a lot of us right now.

So much in this boat with you, but submitted a tad bit earlier.

Going onto a month and a half since UR2 and four months since going complete. This is unacceptable.

Definitely going to be withdrawing. I'm not gonna lie, this WL kinda irritated me. Oh well, gotta let go of the anger

Wow! That's crazy. I'm sure you have some good options but that still sucks.
I like your avatar though

Also WL. Totally expected though- didn't write a Why Penn and don't have any ties to Philly or Penn. 3.65 / 176
UR 2 3/17 if that helps anyone. Probably not riding this one out.

Yeah I do have some great options so i'm not too upset and I was expecting a WL since it's taken me so long to hear back. But gaming the rankings so obviously as Penn has been doing all cycle to people with high stats just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. Especially because I wrote a Why Penn and I would have seriously considered them had I gotten in.
And thanks haha, i'm a huge fan of CHVRCHES
