That is an admit for sure. They give you the same login information in the snail mail letter they send, I am sure you will receive that in a few days.
Now if only they would send the financial aid packet...

If you email admissions with your LSAC number, they will give you your scholarship information via email.

I received my merit scholarship back in January, I just need to know the loans I am eligible for and what the total financial package will look like before I send in my deposit/make a final decision on Loyola.

Just received my finaid package in the mail. No surprises, so Loyola is still in the running for me.

Barring a ton of aid, I'm withdrawing. Too expensive. Too far from home.

Is the merit scholarship something different than the financial aid package?

I checked out the law school. Wow, the facilities are great. They just built a brand new courtroom and the courtroom even has balcony seating. Its was very beautiful. They are renovating the floors one by one and the newly renovated classrooms look great. The building also has a great view of the city.
I liked that the faculty was very honest. They told us the truth about the current legal employment market and how it may never fully recover. When I went to DePaul they made it sound like everyone was either making 6 figures or was going to be some international human rights hero

I would think so, it's supposed to be. I sent an e-mail asking for consideration for merit aid and told them how much I was offered at DePaul. I promptly got an e-mail back telling me that I need to complete my FAFSA to receive my financial aid package.
Either way, I withdrew. GL to someone on the WL.

Checked my LUC status checker. In fees "Tuition Deposit 1" and "Tuition Deposit 2" just showed up. Yet in decision it still says "Application Completed-Thank You" Does this mean an acceptance is on the horizon?
At this rate despite my stats I would be surprised by an admission to LUC. The Jesuits seem to hate me (waitlist at Seattle U, dinged from St. Louis U), my PS can be stretched to seem a bit antagonisitic toward faith, and LUC was by far the most religious and conservative seeming school I visited. I guess doing an optional essay goes a long way...

I don't think i'd read into it. I bet it was just a mass status checker update because seat deposits for admits is coming up.

I just withdrew. I wish I could have went there but it would cost too much to relocate to Chicago. Good luck to everyone else.
