Man, congrats all. BU was one I hadn't thought much about since technically it's regional, but it is about the top realistic I have a shot to get in. And no having looked into it more, I am in love with their legislative clinics - working on writing legislation with state reps/foreign govs, etc. Awesome. And Boston would be a cool experience...

Well, probably will be another week before more calls if the pattern holds...

how nervous do you all think people who didn't hear today and went complete early Nov should be? I have median LSAT and GPA, I wasn't expecting to be auto-admit, but I applied 10/03 and went complete 11/06, do you think its a bad sign I haven't heard anything?

Exactly. You and no one else. Everyone else from Nov is waiting I think, but they snuck yours in early just to ignore it so you would feel bad.

Does anyone know if BU yield-protects?

Not that I have killer numbers or anything, but LSN graph (http://bu.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats) shows only one acceptance above 168, while the vertical line at 168 runs from 3.45 to 4...

Oh, and, CONGRATS to everyone who's gotten the call!

Wow. Now that you mention it, that certainly does look like a freakin' log jam! IDK if it means they're yield protecting, but it is pretty strange.

Looking at last year, it seems like most people with YP numbers were accepted. Most of the WL or rejects had GPA <3.6, and a number of 173+ 3.7+ were offered full rides. There were two or three exceptions but it doesn't seem like a strong case for YP.

I was wondering about this too, since I have high #s than the people who are getting admitted, and I went under review earlier.
