****, now I'm starting to get a bit worried. Thought that maybe I'd be in the 2nd round of admits. Guess I was overconfident.

Got in! It might have said this somewhere in the 18 pages on this thread, but do admissions packets come with scholarship info at W&M, or does that come later?

It comes with it. So we'll find out in a few days! According to Veritas they're really fast with mailing.

I have no idea whether to expect money. I'm LSAT fair amount above 75th, GPA way below 25th.

To those who have been accepted, what appears after "Application Ready for Review?" Is it:

Application Ready for Review > Decision Pending > Review Complete (with "Congratulations! Admit Packet Mailed")

No, I think this time it skipped Decision Pending. I went from App Ready for Review to Review Complete. Then about 10 hours later the Congratulations! Admit Packet Mailed was added. I never had "Decision Pending."
Damn I have decision pending 11/10 :(

That's precisely how mine went - no "Decision Pending."

Hey all, this may have been answered, but it's a long thread.

How many of you getting acceptances wrote the optional essay?

How much importance do they place on it?

W&M is one of three outstanding apps for me, and I would like to maximize my chances there, but I just can't think of anything for their prompt. I've been out of school a while, and my PS is all about working and having a career, which seems to answer their optional prompt.

Any help is appreciated!

Edit - 164 LSAT, 3.23 cumulative GPA. LSAT is right in their range, but GPA is low.

I didn't write one, but my LSAT and GPA were well above median, so IDK what effect it had on my admittance.

I didn't write one. But since your numbers are below their medians, you should probably put in the extra effort.
