I wanted a safety in NYC, and it's not like I have a 4.33 too... I tried not to apply anywhere I would never go. If Fordham ended up as my best option, I might be a little weirded out by my cycle, but I wouldn't be sad to go there. I might withdraw my apps at my safety-safeties now, though - spare them a few dollars of labor and someone else an initial WL.

Fordham gave me $20k/yr, automatically renewable, which I think is pretty neat. Current law students have led me to expect slightly more than that from Fordham's peer institutions, but I've also heard Fordham is quite poor, so maybe it doesn't bode badly.

And yes, I applied to a good number of places from Yale on down, but someone on here said it was a bad idea to disclose all of your applications on LSN, in case adcomms see it. I think this makes no sense and is probably false, but it frightened me nonetheless. If you're not a jerk online, is there actually a good case against outing yourself?

Glad to hear it; I was worried that you were selling yourself short!

What difference would it make if adcomms see, I wonder? Duke accepted me after my Harvard acceptance, so they're not automatically tossing you out if you've been admitted to a higher-ranked school. I think that hiding your apps only makes sense if you plan on making critical remarks about certain schools here.

I did meet someone who was offered $25k a year, but her background was one of extreme economic hardship, so much of this had to be need based. I do believe people come to Fordham for love of the school (and obviously for love of NYC) but you will have many enviable options from which to choose.
