I got invited to PT, and then I registered, but now that I've submitted my app, the status checker says nothing about Priority Track. Is it supposed to?

Wasn't the turnaround for PT like 1-2 days in September? Really wish I had taken the LSAT sooner.

Yeah I got a decision about 23 hours after my application was submitted (mid-September).hoopsguy6 wrote:Wasn't the turnaround for PT like 1-2 days in September? Really wish I had taken the LSAT sooner.

That might not have helped. I took the June test and didn't get the PT invite until they sent them out for you September takers.hoopsguy6 wrote:Wasn't the turnaround for PT like 1-2 days in September? Really wish I had taken the LSAT sooner.
Well, the day is early, plenty of time for them to make up their minds.

I got my e-mail acceptance on Sunday mid-morning, so I'm guessing they are working beyond the traditional workdays during this season.bottomshelf wrote:I hope they work on Saturdayscrackberry wrote:I'm pretty sure we've determined it's 10 business days. I don't think that is a big deal. I accidentally put the wrong year for my graduation on my resume and still got an acceptance.
Have we figured out if PT is 10 business days or 10 regular days?

Congrats! Did your status checker change over the weekend to "decision" too? Or did that happen during the work week, with the email just following on the weekend?toolshed wrote:

Today is day 10 for me (priority track) and still under review

Not sure what the status checker did prior to the notification...I committed myself to not checking them for the sake of sanity. In fact, I'm still not sure what it says, I'll go look. I was almost at the ten day limit when I got the e-mail, so don't be too concerned. I'm sure they are getting around to it.js87 wrote:Congrats! FYI, it's definitely 10 business days. My application was received on Monday, 9/21, and I didn't get the acceptance e-mail until Friday, Oct. 2.

PT or not? I'm not. I'm also a URM splitter and they just received my Dean's Letter this past Wednesday.hoopsguy6 wrote:That's a pretty long time. I went complete 10/12 and didn't go under review until 10/25. I had a waiver but not PT.hopefulundergrad wrote:PT or not? I'm not. My "file under review" status date just changed from sometime last week to today's date. What does this mean??

Re: In at Duke!
Sorry to hear. Did you get priority waitlist? I know some people that were put on the priority waitlist from PT actually were accepted in December. Did you write a "why Duke?" essay?

Re: In at Duke!
Just got an email from Duke informing me that I was offered a place on the "Priority Reserve" list. Kind of upsetting, as I was a priority track applicant with a 3.75 and 161/171 LSATs. I thought I was pretty competitive, and now I'm concerned that there's a big red flag somewhere in my application that will stand out to all top schools.
Anyone know what priority reserve really entails vs. waitlist? Is it just another name for waitlist?
Thanks.

Re: In at Duke!
Last year, people were accepted off the priority reserve list in December. It may be some sort of YP, as your GPA is quite high. Is this your 10th regular day or business day? Did your status checker change?js87 wrote:Just got an email from Duke informing me that I was offered a place on the "Priority Reserve" list. Re: In at Duke!
I kind of doubt it is YP, as there have been a lot of high numbers people accepted, but it might be akin to someone reverting an application from ED to RD.CoutureChiq wrote:Last year, people were accepted off the priority reserve list in December. Thanks for the info. Like VoidSix said, I do doubt it's YP (although that's wishful thinking). This is exactly my tenth day. My status checker changed right around the same time I got the email (unsure of what came first), but it was around 9:00 PM.
I'm very bummed about this

Good luck to everyone else.
