I don't think I'd be taking it so hard if I didn't feel that it might bode poorly for my other reaches, which I was more interested in. I was accepted to a similarly ranked program with $ yesterday, so here's hoping. I'll probably withdraw from the waitlist soon. Best of luck everyone!
hang in there, you'll get off of this WL. Good luck

Dinged today with a lower GPA. Complete 1/9, UR 1/13. I was also just disappointed cause I'm worried about similar ranked skills I want more. It looks like they are focusing a lot on GPA
Maybe so, they may be trying hard to pull up their numbers this cycle. Best of luck, here's hoping it looks up for the both of us!

UR since 1/9. Does anybody know what this means? What should me timeline look like if I am to be accepted? I know with my numbers it is a reach!

FWIW from what I have seen on lsn for GW it has been less about GPA this cycle and more about maintaining there 165 median.

stats?
156, 3.97....like poor LSAT score that should've pushed me for a retake but still went for it this cycle.

Echoing others. Pls retake. A 10pt increase can get you T6 with $$$. Heavily consider waiting till you can get 166+ even if that means not taking June. That GPA is too good.

I am URM, Mexican-American. I applied on the 1/12 and went complete about 1/18, decision made on 1/25.

Looking back through this thread, scholarship reconsideration forms should be up within the next few days. Any strategies on how to approach this?
Wondering how convincing offers from W&L and Wake would be for a bump

You would have to be insane not to retake as a URM applicant with a 3.97 GPA and anything less than a 165 LSAT. You're missing out on money from T14 schools because of the LSAT, and almost a guarantee at HYS if you're able to get it up into the 168-170 range.

Went UR 1/9. I have not heard anything since.
Both LSAT & GPA are below the 50th percentile, but above the 25th percentile.
What is going on??

I went UR1 on 1/9 and I have very good numbers for GW so I wouldn't be too overly worried at the wait.

Over the past 3 cycles on lawschoolnumbers, GW has accepted only 3 of the ~100 non-URM applicants with 25th < LSAT/GPA < 50th, so they really want to see at least one median.

If I'm trying to negotiate a scholarship here, what would be some good schools to get into.
