So if we are held, do we write a letter of continued interest? Or do we wait until we are waitlisted?

In via email! Spotted it in my promotions tab on gmail, so it may take some searching to find your letters.

Is there a distinction here between held and moved to RD? If (when) I am moved to RD, I definitely will not write a LOCI. I think they will know we are still interested and last year looked like ED->RD->admit was not uncommon at all.notsolawful wrote:So if we are held, do we write a letter of continued interest? Pessimistic too. I've heard no positive results from T14 yetEinassA wrote:Still no status changedo any of you all know if most people's decisions will come out today? Also, I feel guybourdin and I are on the same level of pessimism lmao

Sadly, in the same boat. It's difficult to interpret last year's thread perfectly, but it looks like there was only one round of ED admits and it took a few hours to complete. IMO the chances have dwindled to minuscule if you don't have the seat deposit under fees.

Dinged at Cornell, Accepted at GULC, but this is where I'd really want. Hell, I'd go ED without the scholly.

Jj, you give me hope. I think your numbers are too good to be Held. Don't know if this will make you feel better or worsejjcorvino wrote:I am in the same boat. A bit better! People with similar stats were typically making it for ED.notsolawful wrote:Jj, you give me hope. I think your numbers are too good to be Held. About four hours after decisions started being updated, people started getting moved to regular decision via email.

I applied ED and still haven't gotten an email or anything. I guess this means I'm deferred?

All the accepted people seemed to be in the first wave :/RedPurpleBlue wrote:https://twitter.com/tweetsbyjohann/stat ... 7580022788
Found this tweet by the assistant dean: "ED decisions round one are being loaded" (2hrs ago)
This could potentially be a good sign for those who have not heard back yet?
Deferred and rejected in later waves. (From last year's thread)
