But it does say that "You are receiving this email from the Emory University School of Law Office of Admission. Your contact information was obtained from LSAC's Candidate Referral Service (CRS)."EastCoastICU wrote:haha in certain ways. Basically was extremely blatant lol. I said something along the lines of I know you're super busy but I'm slightly confused of the message of the email and was wondering if it means my app is still under review or if it's a rejection.tvu wrote:skyhigh4760 wrote:What did you say!!lawlaura3494 wrote:Yeah.. Please let us know the reply. Emory seems to have its own strange way of operating.lawlaura3494 wrote:Basically was extremely blatant lol. Same here. I've been waiting for an answer ever since the last email like this in January. I wish it wasn't so ominous.

Got the weird email... compulsively answered gushing about how much I would love to stay in touch with the admissions office and how I am already into the Emory MPH program and JUST NEED THE JD half!

My email didn't have that part in it. Doubtful -- mine also had the part about LSAC; it's just in the fine print at the very bottom!skyhigh4760 wrote:I'm confused...so we got different emails?Johnson1031 wrote:My email didn't have that part in it. Gotcha! I'm reading from my phone so none of that stuff is included. It's probably there if I login from the computer.dbwj787 wrote:Doubtful -- mine also had the part about LSAC; it's just in the fine print at the very bottom!skyhigh4760 wrote:I'm confused...so we got different emails?Johnson1031 wrote:My email didn't have that part in it. Re: Emory Law c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I got the same email. It does have the LSAC message at the bottom. I thought it was a rejection too since they're talking about the strength of the applicants but then why would they say "As you evaluate where you will begin your legal journey, I do hope you will keep in contact with me so that we can continue to provide you the information you need to make the best decision for your individualized path. I look forward to staying in touch." Makes no sense....dbwj787 wrote:Doubtful -- mine also had the part about LSAC; it's just in the fine print at the very bottom!skyhigh4760 wrote:I'm confused...so we got different emails?Johnson1031 wrote:My email didn't have that part in it. Ah, yes! Mobile viewing always takes that stuff out (even though it's clearly important, haha)!

Re: Emory Law c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
They also just sent out a different email to admitted students (at least I got one) with info on external scholarships, on-campus jobs, and Visiting Day. It had a big Welcome to the Class of 2019 image at the bottom, and it's fine print at the bottom reads "You are receiving this email because you have been admitted to Emory University School of Law." So they clearly don't try to play games with their emails.dbwj787 wrote:Doubtful -- mine also had the part about LSAC; it's just in the fine print at the very bottom!skyhigh4760 wrote:I'm confused...so we got different emails?Johnson1031 wrote:My email didn't have that part in it. Yeah, for sure -- I think it was everyone's anticipation coupled with the vague wording!squirtlesquad14 wrote:
