Assuming I also went UR3. I honestly had forgotten about the multiple UR changes. I have already interviewed with them, and my status checker changed today. Hoping for good news.

I am under review and have already interviewed, but I have no clue where I am supposed to be seeing "URanything"?

It doesn't say the number on the status checker. You have to keep track of the changes. The status checker readers Application Under Review and you have to look at the status date. The status date changes with your first review, when you get your interview, immediately after you interview, and two(ish) times after that. Once for second committee review and another for presumably the final review.deant286 wrote:I am under review and have already interviewed, but I have no clue where I am supposed to be seeing "URanything"?

For those that have gotten interview requests, about how long was it between when you went UR1 and when you got a request?

Did all of you submit pretty close to when the app opened? I'm guessing I submitted later than most of you since I was complete at the end of October

I submitted on or around August 15th but Chicago didn't pull our files until the beginning of September.pittsburghpirates wrote:Did all of you submit pretty close to when the app opened? I'm guessing I submitted later than most of you since I was complete at the end of October

Chicago did tweet that interview offers will be coming out this week. I'd link up but don't have twitter access in the office.

Re: Chicago C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Here are the questions from the previous year since I think the list got deleted:
Why law?
Why law now?
Why Chicago?
What am I doing between now and law school (I was a December graduate from UG)?
Resume related questions (questions about specific items or bullet-points on your rezzy).
Have you ever had a time when you were out of your element or comfort zone?
What is your greatest accomplishment?
If you could go back in time and redo one thing in your life, what would it be?
Discuss a memorable class or moment in a class.
Why did you choose your undergrad?
What is your preferred work style?
What do you do in your free time?
How would your professors describe you?
How would your peers describe you?
How would your coworkers describe you?
Do you have any questions for me?
"Who most influenced your decision to go to law school?"
Tell me about a challenge you faced?
Tell me about your current job.
Any points you want me to especially emphasize with the admissions committee?
"What is on your bucket list?"
If you could have a conversation with anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why?

They should offer plenty of opportunity to showcase your strengths. I will caution everyone interviewing though, that my experience last year, and it seems like some people also had this experience this time around, was that the interview can seem more rigid and stern than some schools. The interviewer is obviously not trying to mess you up, it's just a different interviewing strategy. I'd recommend going in expecting that your interviewer might not crack a smile throughout the whole thing, and might not give you any encouragement in your answers. It's just some interviewers style, and you shouldn't let it throw you.Li'l Sebastian wrote: ...

With that out of the way, I also got my invitation to interview yesterday. Good luck to everyone interviewing and to everyone still waiting to hear. I'm excited about all this speculation that things are moving more quickly this year.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
