Ah, I never had "the plan" so I think it doesn't scare me as much. I think I'll be able to tolerate three potentially unpleasant of school as long as I know it's preparing me to worthwhile things with my life.

That's another thing. There's nothing remotely close to a guarantee in that department. Maybe I'm more morose than usual due to apps being imminent, but I'm feeling like Andy.

So I'm sitting near this man at a coffee shop and he's the ED of a super cool PI law organization AND a former RTK scholar. I met him once at a conference and he works with one of our board members and I wanna network with him but I don't know how (plus he's having coffee with someone)

You'd have to commit to physically leaving (or do it on your way out), but walk up, say you're really sorry to interrupt, but you recognize him from 'x' and wonder if he has a business card, because you'd love to grab coffee. Or something. Then peace.
